Jericho and Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture held a coordination meeting with partner organizations in the Emergency Aid Committee, with the participation of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission and the Directorate of Local Government. This meeting aimed to strengthen coordination and cooperation to serve farmers and support their resilience in the targeted areas.
Participants emphasized the importance of the work of the Emergency Aid Committees and their role in unifying efforts and working as an integrated team to support farmers and mitigate the effects of the difficult conditions they face, thus contributing to strengthening their resilience and steadfastness on their land.
The event included field visits to a number of affected sites, as well as a visit to the displaced community in Al-Mu'arrajat (Arab al-Malihat), where the situation of the residents was assessed and their basic needs and requirements were heard.
At the conclusion of the visit, a meeting was held at the Jericho and Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, during which the Director General stressed the importance of preparing and submitting periodic reports to the relevant departments in the Ministry of Agriculture to monitor the needs of the affected areas and ensure a rapid response within the emergency aid programs.
