Ministry of Agriculture: Hebron Agriculture Directorate , in partnership with FAO and with funding from the European Union, implement a training program for female livestock farmers in Khallat Al-Dar area, with the participation of 15 women.

Hebron Directorate of Agriculture conducted a training session for female livestock farmers in Khallat al-Dar area. This training was part of the project "Strengthening the Skills and Practices of Livestock Breeders at All Stages of the Animal Value Chain in the West Bank – Palestine," funded by the European Union and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The training targeted 15 women and included specialized modules on sound farm management and proper handling of dairy products to ensure product quality and safety, as well as promoting healthy practices within livestock farms.

This training is part of Hebron Directorate of Agriculture's efforts to develop the capacities of livestock breeders, empower women working in this sector, and improve the quality of livestock production and its products. This contributes to enhancing food security and increasing the efficiency of the animal value chain in the governorate.

The Directorate emphasized the importance of implementing training and extension activities targeting rural women and livestock breeders, given their role in improving production and promoting sustainability in the agricultural sector.
