Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, with support from the Diakonia Foundation, distributed 14,274 summer vegetable seedlings to 61 farmers in the town of Tafouh. This initiative is part of joint efforts to strengthen farmers' resilience and develop the agricultural sector in the governorate.
This intervention falls within the Ministry of Agriculture's programs aimed at supporting farmers, enhancing agricultural production, and encouraging the expansion of tree planting. These efforts contribute to improving food security, increasing the efficiency of agricultural land use, particularly in home gardens, and promoting sustainable production.
Hebron Directorate of Agriculture emphasizes that this initiative embodies the importance of partnerships with supporting institutions and local bodies in implementing development programs that empower farmers and enhance their ability to continue production. This, in turn, positively impacts agricultural development and home-based agriculture, contributing to the strengthening of the household economy and ultimately bolstering the resilience of citizens and supporting agricultural production.
