Jerusalem Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), conducted field visits to the villages of Al-Jib, Biddu, and Jaba', as part of the ongoing monitoring of the "Green Jobs and Sustainable Income Opportunities for Young Palestinian Women and Men in the Agricultural and Food Sector" project.
The visits, which were attended by Engineer Imad Al-Taweel, Head of the Field Crops Department, verified the commitment of 107 farmers to cultivating the targeted legume field crops, including lentils, chickpeas, vetch, and alfalfa, according to the approved plans and technical standards.
This activity is part of efforts to enhance agricultural production and improve crop quality, thereby contributing to supporting farmers' resilience, creating sustainable income opportunities, and promoting sustainable agriculture in the targeted areas.
