On Tuesday, the Ministry of Agriculture—represented by its veterinary services and animal health departments and directorates—continued implementing veterinary vaccination campaigns across 10 governorates. A total of 9,837 doses were administered, comprising 7,237 doses against FMD, 1,800 doses against Brucellosis, 500 doses against PPR, and 300 doses against sheep pox. These efforts benefited 256 farmers and livestock breeders, according to figures reported by the veterinary directorates and departments.
In Bethlehem, the Veterinary Department administered 900 doses against FMD and 75 doses against Brucellosis in Al-Rashayda and Abu Nujaim areas, benefiting 9 farmers. In Qalqilya, 140 FMD doses were administered in Nabi Ilyas—benefiting two farmers—alongside 125 Brucellosis doses in Sir.
In the northern Hebron area, the Veterinary Department conducted a vaccination campaign in Sa'ir and Surif, administering 555 FMD doses and 150 Brucellosis doses, benefiting 35 farmers. In the southern Hebron/Dura area, the campaign included administering 470 doses of Brucellosis vaccine to 47 beneficiaries, 50 doses of Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) vaccine to one beneficiary, and 100 doses of sheep/goat pox vaccine to two beneficiaries in Al-Tabaqa and Al-Dhahiriya areas.
Hebron Veterinary Department also administered 200 doses of Brucellosis vaccine to replacement females in Wadi Aziz (Idhna town) and the Jabal Jawhar area of ​​Hebron city, benefiting 27 livestock owners; additionally, 200 doses of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine were administered to 23 owners, and 100 doses of sheep/goat pox vaccine to two owners.
In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, the veterinary team administered 1,139 doses of FMD vaccine to sheep and 200 doses of Brucellosis vaccine in Al-Jiftlik, benefiting 13 farmers. In Tubas, between September 13 and 15, 1,443 doses of FMD vaccine were administered to 31 farmers in Al-Juba, Ainun, and Al-Far'a, alongside 200 doses of Brucellosis vaccine for six beneficiaries in Al-Far'a.
Vaccinations in Jerusalem included 60 doses of Brucellosis vaccine and 215 doses of FMD vaccine in Qalandia al-Balad, benefiting four farmers, as well as 1,185 doses of FMD vaccine and 220 doses of Brucellosis vaccine in Wadi Sa'b, benefiting 12 individuals. In Ramallah and Al-Bireh, 1,100 doses of FMD vaccine were administered to 24 beneficiaries in Al-Midya, and 100 doses of Brucellosis vaccine to two beneficiaries in Shuqba.

In Jenin, the Veterinary Department administered 360 doses for foot-and-mouth disease, 200 doses for brucellosis, 450 doses against Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), and 100 doses against sheep and goat pox, benefiting 16 livestock owners.
The Ministry of Agriculture reaffirms its commitment to continuing and expanding veterinary vaccination campaigns in the field. These efforts aim to enhance the protection of livestock, curb the spread of diseases, minimize potential losses for breeders, and support the sustainability of livestock production and food security across the various governorates.
