The Ministry of Agriculture and the municipality of Tammoun sign an agreement to build agricultural roads to enhance farmers' access to their lands.

Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, represented by its Director General, Engineer Omar Bisharat, and the Municipality of Tammoun, represented by its Mayor, Mr. Muhammad Bisharat, signed an agreement today for the cooperative use of a project to construct agricultural roads in the town of Tammoun. This initiative falls within the Ministry's efforts to develop agricultural information infrastructure and bolster farmers' resilience.

Under the agreement, the Ministry of Agriculture will provide the necessary equipment and technical supervision for the project's implementation. The municipality of Tammoun is committed to implementing the project according to the terms of the agreement, including the design of the work and the implementation of the project's objectives.

The project aims to improve farmers' access to their agricultural lands and facilitate service and production operations, thereby positively impacting the sustainability of agricultural activity in the town and enhancing farmers' ability to cultivate their land.

These elements are also part of the Ministry of Agriculture's commitment to integrating agricultural infrastructure development, in partnership with local authorities, including the Agricultural Development Service, and contributing to supporting farmers' resilience by enabling them to remain on their land.
