The Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) signed 13 investment support agreements as part of the 18th batch of the MAP II program. This program aims to boost market-oriented investments and innovations and develop a sustainable agri-food system across six governorates: Qalqilya, Nablus, Jenin, Tubas, Tulkarm, and Hebron.
The total investment volume reached approximately 4.35 million shekels, comprising a 2.03 million shekel contribution from the program and a 2.32 million shekel contribution from beneficiaries—with the program covering 46.7% of the total cost.
The projects encompass the development of crop and livestock farms; the establishment of facilities for food processing, grain and fodder production, and packaging materials; as well as energy and water-related projects.

He also expressed his gratitude to the( FAO )a strategic partner of the Ministry for its efforts in supporting the Palestinian agricultural sector.
He explained that the selection of beneficiaries was based on the quality, productivity, and sustainability of the projects, following a review and evaluation process by various partners to ensure the projects' viability and ability to achieve their intended objectives.
The signing ceremony, held at the Ministry of Agriculture headquarters in Ramallah, was attended by Assistant Undersecretaries Eng. Hussam Tuleib, Mr. Tariq Abu Laban, and Ms. Adiba Musleh; Director General of International Relations Eng. Mahmoud Fatafta; and the Ministry team responsible for implementing the project.
