Ministry of Agriculture: Jericho and Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture has completed quality and safety tests for 72 shipments exported to Turkey

Jericho and Jordan Valley Agriculture Directorate has completed all quality and safety inspection procedures for 72 agricultural shipments exported to Turkey. This is part of the approved technical control system designed to ensure that products comply with the health and technical requirements of importing markets.

The inspections were conducted by taking representative samples from the shipments and subjecting them to analysis in accredited laboratories, under the supervision of staff from Jericho and Jordan Valley Agriculture Directorate. The results met all required standards, thus fulfilling the approved quality and safety requirements for export.

These procedures are part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to strengthen governance in the date sector and regulate export operations, thereby contributing to consolidating the reputation of Palestinian products and increasing confidence in national dates in regional and international markets.

The Ministry affirms its continued implementation of a comprehensive monitoring system within packing houses and production sites during the export season. This system enhances the competitiveness of Palestinian agricultural exports and maintains their presence in foreign markets.
