Ministry of Agriculture: Jenin Agriculture Directorate and Agricultural Relief implement a participatory community environmental activity in Mithalon

Jenin Directorate of Agriculture, represented by the Agriculture and Veterinary Department in Mithalon, in partnership with the Agricultural Relief organization and in cooperation with the Mithalon Municipality and the Community Protection Committee, organized a volunteer day to plant seedlings in front of and at the entrances to the environmental park in the town of Mithalon. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to preserve the town's aesthetic appeal, increase green spaces, and promote a culture of volunteerism and environmental responsibility.

This activity aligns with the Ministry of Agriculture's directives to strengthen partnerships with local institutions and solidify the concepts of sustainable development and environmental protection by engaging the local community in environmental and agricultural initiatives.

The event saw broad participation from local institutions, including the Mithalon Water Services Council, Mithalon Police Station, The Customs Police, the Civil Defense, Mithalon Women's Charitable Society, and Mithalon Charitable Society. This active participation contributed to the success of the activity and reinforced the spirit of cooperation and teamwork in service of the community and the environment. Jenin Agriculture Directorate emphasizes the importance of continuing to implement such voluntary activities that promote environmental awareness and support efforts to protect natural resources and improve the environmental landscape in towns and villages, reflecting a spirit of belonging and shared responsibility towards the land and the environment.
