The Extension Services Department of Bethlehem Governorate Agriculture Directorate, in partnership with the Agricultural Development Association (Agricultural Relief), conducted specialized field days focused on the grape sector in the towns of Al-Khader and Jorat Al-Sham’a. These field days targeted 70 farmers, both men and women, as part of ongoing efforts to promote sound agricultural practices and build specialized technical capacities among Palestinian farmers.
The training focused on proper grape pruning skills and practices, along with introducing grafting and propagation methods, and techniques for selecting suitable branches for pruning. This contributes to increased production efficiency and improved fruit quality. Participants also discussed the importance of applying modern technologies in vine care and their role in reducing the spread of diseases and enhancing product quality.
