Ministry of Agriculture: Hebron Agriculture Directorate and JICA have conducted a field visit for the benefit of 17 beneficiaries, including women's associations and clubs, in Beit Ula, Masafer Bani Na'im, and Dura.

Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), have conducted an awareness-raising field visit to Hebron Governorate as part of the EVAP 3 project. Seventeen farmers from the Beit Kahil Women's Food Processing Group participated.

The visit included a stop at the Beit Ula Women's Club, where participants learned about proper pickling and food processing techniques. They also discussed ways to achieve self-sufficiency and enhance product marketing skills to improve income and ensure the sustainability of home-based businesses.

The visit also included a stop at the Masafer Bani Na'im Women's Food Processing Association, where participants learned about the Azolla plant, its production methods, and its importance in animal feed due to its high protein content, making it an economical and sustainable option for supporting the livestock sector.

The visit concluded with a stop at the Dura Cooperative for Agricultural Processing, where participants learned about the association's main products and the mechanisms used for quality improvement, packaging, and marketing. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this tour comes within the framework of promoting the exchange of experiences and transferring knowledge among farmers, and opening new horizons for them to adopt modern agricultural and manufacturing practices that contribute to developing their projects and enhancing their sustainability, and empowering rural women economically and socially.
