The Ministry of Agriculture—represented by the veterinary service departments in the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilya, Jenin, Tubas, and Bethlehem—conducted preventive veterinary vaccination campaigns. These campaigns covered Brucellosis, Foot-and-Mouth Disease, Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), and sheep pox, administering a total of 8,395 vaccine doses to benefit 128 livestock breeders.
In Hebron governorate, the campaigns covered the areas of Khallet al-Deir, Wadi Risha, Khallet Ibrahim, and Wadi al-Bayda in the town of Idhna, as well as Al-Namous and Arqan Awad areas in the city of Dura. These efforts aimed to protect livestock and enhance prevention against diseases threatening sheep flocks.
Field vaccination operations against various animal diseases continued in the governorates of Qalqilya, Jenin, and Tubas, targeting sheep and livestock owned by breeders in agricultural areas and communities. Meanwhile, campaigns in Bethlehem covered several areas—including Tuqu', Hindaza, Za'atara, Al-Rashayda, Al-Shawawra, and Al-Ubeidiya—as part of the preventive vaccination program implemented by the Ministry in the field. The Ministry of Agriculture continues to implement preventive vaccination campaigns through veterinary service departments across the governorates, aiming to improve animal health, curb the spread of diseases, protect livestock and breeders' sources of income, and enhance the sustainability of livestock production.
