Ministry of Agriculture: Under the supervision and participation of Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Agriculture Directorate, Agricultural Relief completes the distribution of supplies for the rehabilitation of grape farms to 18 farmers

Under the supervision and participation of Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, the Agricultural Development Association (Agricultural Relief) completed the distribution of supplies for rehabilitating existing vineyards. This initiative is part of the "Improving Livelihoods, Food Security, and Achieving Sustainable Economic Growth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip" project, funded by the Dutch Representative Office.

The distribution included irrigation networks benefiting 18 farmers in the areas of Atouf, Tammoun, Tayasir, and Aqaba. This is part of joint efforts aimed at developing vineyards, increasing water use efficiency, and improving agricultural productivity, which will positively impact farmers' incomes and the sustainability of their agricultural activities.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this intervention is among its priorities in supporting farmers, particularly in targeted areas facing increasing challenges. This support is provided by supplying production inputs that enhance farmers' ability to continue cultivating their land, reduce the burdens they face, and contribute to strengthening their resilience and steadfastness on their land.

This activity embodies the ongoing partnership between the Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Relief in implementing development programs that respond to the needs of farmers, contribute to enhancing food security, achieving sustainable agricultural development, and consolidating the Palestinian presence in the targeted agricultural areas.
