The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Agriculture Directorate and Agricultural Relief, is rehabilitating grape farms in Beit Anan, Badu, Beit Ijza, and Beit Duqqu, benefiting 47 farmers across 130 dunams.

Under the supervision and with the participation of Jerusalem Agriculture Directorate, the Agricultural Relief organization carried out rehabilitation work on economically viable grape farms in the towns of Beit Anan, Biddu, Beit Ijza, and Beit Duqqu, northwest of Jerusalem. This initiative falls under the project "Improving Livelihoods, Food Security, and Sustainable Economic Growth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip."

The project targeted 47 farmers across a total area of ​​130 dunams planted with grapes. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen farmers' resilience and improve their income sources by expanding economically viable crops, particularly in threatened and targeted areas.

The project included distributing grape trellise equipment to the beneficiary farmers, aiming to increase agricultural production efficiency and improve crop quality. This, in turn, contributes to promoting sustainable agricultural development and achieving food security in the region. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms the importance of partnership with institutions working in the agricultural sector, given their role in supporting farmers and implementing development projects that contribute to strengthening the resilience of citizens on their lands, noting that these interventions come within the Ministry’s vision aimed at developing the agricultural sector, raising production efficiency, and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural resources in various governorates.
