Under the supervision of the Ithna/Hebron Agriculture Department, the Land Research Center distributed agricultural equipment to 20 farmers in Ithna through an afforestation and climate adaptation project

Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, represented by the Ithna Agriculture and Veterinary Department, in cooperation with the Land Research Center, distributed agricultural equipment and tools to 20 farmers in the town of Ithna. This initiative is part of the "Enhancing Land Productivity and Adapting to Climate Change through Afforestation" project.

The activity was carried out under the supervision and with the participation of staff from the Ithna Agriculture and Veterinary Department, as part of joint efforts aimed at supporting farmers and empowering them to develop their agricultural lands and enhance their ability to face climate and economic challenges.

Hebron Directorate of Agriculture affirms that this intervention aligns with the Ministry of Agriculture's vision to strengthen farmers' resilience on their land and improve the utilization of agricultural resources by providing agricultural supplies and tools that facilitate agricultural operations and increase production efficiency.

For its part, the Land Research Center explained that the project focuses on supporting afforestation activities and improving agricultural land productivity, thereby enhancing adaptation to climate change, contributing to the preservation of natural resources, and achieving sustainable agricultural development. This activity is part of a series of interventions and initiatives aimed at supporting farmers and enhancing the sustainability of the agricultural sector, which will positively impact increased production and improved economic conditions for farming families in the governorate.
