Under the supervision of the Central Jordan Valley Department/Nablus Agriculture, Agricultural Relief distributed supplies to rehabilitate 54 dunams of grape farms in Al-Nasariya and Froush Beit Dajan, benefiting 27 farmers with Dutch support

The Central Jordan Valley Department/Nablus Agriculture Directorate participated in distributing supplies for the rehabilitation of existing vineyards to beneficiary farmers in the villages of Al-Nasariya and Froush Beit Dajan. This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Agricultural Development Association (Agricultural Relief) as part of the project "Improving Livelihoods, Food Security, and Sustainable Economic Growth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip – Palestine," funded by the Dutch Representative Office.

The activity targeted 27 vineyard owners with a total area of ​​54 dunams. The distribution included metal supplies for 10 farmers to rehabilitate vineyards covering 20 dunams, in addition to distributing 68 rolls of agricultural netting to 17 farmers to rehabilitate vineyards covering 34 dunams. The aim was to develop the vineyards and improve production efficiency and crop quality.

The project also includes providing agricultural extension services and technical support to beneficiary farmers, ensuring the optimal use of distributed agricultural inputs and achieving the best possible production results. This is in addition to enhancing farmers' capabilities and developing their skills in managing vineyards according to sound agricultural practices.

The project targets several locations in Nablus Governorate and the central Jordan Valley, including Al-Nasariya and Froush Beit Dajan, contributing to strengthening farmers' resilience, improving their livelihoods, and supporting the sustainability of agricultural production in the region.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its continued cooperation with partner institutions and supporting entities to implement development projects aimed at developing the agricultural sector, empowering farmers to overcome challenges, and strengthening their resilience on their land, thereby achieving sustainable agricultural development and food security.
