The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Agricultural Relief, conduct a field day for almond farmers and distributing 40 bags of plant production supplies in Jenin Governorate

The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Agricultural Relief and Mithlon Agriculture and Veterinary Department, conducted a field training day for almond farmers in the town of Mithlon. The activity covered the fundamentals of foundational and fruit pruning for almond trees, as well as almond cultivation, with the aim of increasing farmers' efficiency and improving production.

The training targeted 10 farmers benefiting from the almond cultivation project. Practical guidance and field applications were provided to promote sound agricultural practices.

At the end of the training, 40 plant production supplies were distributed to the beneficiaries. These supplies included pruning tools such as electric shears, manual shears, small electric saws, and individual spray pumps.

These activities are implemented within the framework of the project "Improving Livelihoods, Enhancing Food Security, and Achieving Sustainable Economic Growth in the West Bank and Gaza Strip – Palestine," funded by donor countries in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agricultural Relief. The campaign activities also focused on the importance of introducing green and safe pest control technologies that contribute to reducing agricultural production costs, maximizing production, and enhancing access to healthy and safe food products for consumers, without harming the environment or public health.
