The Technical Committee of Tulkarm Agriculture Directorate received two projects to support livestock breeders in the towns of Shufa and Kafr Jamal, with a total value of 120,000 shekels, within the agricultural assistance program funded by the European Union.The two projects include sheep breeding and sheep fattening, which contributes to enhancing local production and improving the economic conditions of the beneficiary farmers.
The implementation of these two projects comes within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts aimed at strengthening the steadfastness of farmers on their lands and supporting the sustainability of agricultural production, especially in light of the challenges facing the agricultural sector as a result of occupation practices.
The Ministry confirms that these projects fall within the support programs funded by the European Union, which seek to develop the livestock sector and improve the standard of living of farmers, which will reflect positively on the development of the agricultural sector in Tulkarm Governorate and enhance food security.
