Ministry of Agriculture: The Higher Committee for Nursery Licensing is monitoring the compliance of Jenin nurseries with the instructions for licensing and producing seedlings

The Ministry's Higher Committee for Nursery Licensing conducted a field visit to several agricultural nurseries in Jenin Governorate. The purpose of the visit was to monitor compliance with the Ministry's regulations regarding nursery licensing and seedling production according to approved technical specifications, as well as to oversee and regulate seedling production in agricultural nurseries.

During the visit, the Committee emphasized the importance of adhering to the applicable technical and procedural requirements to ensure the quality and safety of the produced seedlings and to contribute to protecting and improving the efficiency of agricultural production. The Committee stressed the necessity of complying with the regulations and instructions governing the operation of nurseries.

The Committee also reviewed the operational mechanisms used in the nurseries, the types of seedlings produced, and the technical procedures implemented to guarantee seedling quality. It offered a number of observations and technical guidelines aimed at improving performance and raising the level of production. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that these visits come within the framework of its ongoing efforts to regulate the agricultural nursery sector, enhance technical oversight, and ensure the provision of healthy seedlings that conform to specifications, which will positively impact the support of farmers and the advancement of the agricultural sector.
