Ministry of Agriculture: The national campaign for livestock vaccination and tagging has exceeded 52,500 vaccination and tagging operations for livestock during the fifth day of its second week.

- The cumulative total for the campaign has risen to over 52,500 vaccinations and taggings.

- On the fifth day of the second week, 2,100 head of livestock were vaccinated and 2,450 were tagged, benefiting 45 livestock breeders.

- The campaign continues in the areas of Al-Rifa'iya, Umm Al-Khair, and Al-Najada in Masafer Yatta, in addition to Salhab, Al-Deir, and Ein Al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley.

The Ministry of Agriculture continued implementing the national campaign for livestock vaccination and tagging, and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1). The total number of vaccinations and taggings completed since the campaign's launch has risen to over 52,500 in the targeted areas, as part of the Ministry's efforts to protect livestock, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and strengthen the animal health system in Palestine.

On the fifth day of the second week, ministry teams carried out vaccination and tagging operations in the areas of Al-Rifa'iya, Um al-Khair, and Al-Najada in Masafer Yatta, as well as Salhab, Al-Deir, and Ein Al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley. A total of 2,100 head of livestock were vaccinated against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1), and 2,450 head were tagged as part of the national livestock tagging program. Forty-five livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services.

The ministry affirmed that the campaign continues according to the approved schedule and in cooperation with livestock breeders in the various targeted communities. This contributes to raising the level of prevention against epidemic diseases, enhancing the efficiency of the national tagging system, and supporting the sustainability of the livestock sector.
