The national campaign for livestock tagging and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) continued its field work on the third day of its sixth week, bringing the cumulative total since its launch to 120,730 vaccinations and tagging operations. This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to strengthen the animal health system, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and protect livestock in the targeted areas.

In Al-Jawaya area of ​​Masafer Yatta, veterinary teams carried out 800 vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) and 800 animal tagging operations as part of the National Livestock Tagging Program. Twenty-five livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services. Additionally, Tubas Directorate of Agriculture and Veterinary Services conducted 800 vaccinations and 800 tagging operations in the areas of Atouf, Ein al-Bayda, and Salhab, benefiting 10 farmers.

The total number of operations completed today reached 3,200, including 1,600 vaccinations and 1,600 tagging operations. This brings the cumulative total of the campaign to 120,730 operations since its launch. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its commitment to continuing the national campaign in all targeted areas, thereby enhancing livestock protection, raising the level of prevention against epidemic diseases, supporting the resilience of livestock breeders, and strengthening food security in Palestine.
