The national campaign for livestock tagging and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) continued its field work on the fourth day of its fifth week. The cumulative achievement since its launch has risen to 112,030 vaccinations and tagging operations, within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to strengthen the animal health system, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and protect livestock in the targeted areas.

In Al-Khalidiya and Ghazawi areas of Masafer Yatta, veterinary teams carried out 1,300 vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) and 900 animal tagging operations as part of the National Livestock Tagging Program. Twenty livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services.

The total number of operations completed today reached 2,200, including 1,300 vaccinations and 900 tagging operations. This brings the cumulative total of the campaign to 112,030 operations since its launch. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its commitment to continuing the national campaign in all targeted areas, thereby enhancing livestock protection, raising the level of prevention against epidemic diseases, and contributing to supporting the resilience of livestock breeders and strengthening food security in Palestine.
