To enhance the steadfastness of farmers and support the development of agricultural production efficiency, the distribution of tools and equipment for agricultural grants intervention has begun within the “SANIT” project, for the benefit of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Palestinian Employment Fund, funded by the Italian government and implemented in cooperation with the Italian Siam-Bari Institute. The project aims to provide farmers with the necessary tools and equipment to improve the quality of agricultural production and promote the adoption of modern agricultural practices within the value chain of plums and fodder, as the beneficiaries are selected according to technical and economic criteria that guarantee the sustainability of small and medium agricultural projects in the Palestinian countryside.
The technical tools and equipment allocated for the project were delivered directly to the farmers benefiting from the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate in the presence of the project’s national coordinator, Engineer Odeh Sabarneh, and the supervision and follow-up of the directorate’s staff, represented by Engineer Adiba Zaqeq, Engineer Majdoline Al-Rajabi, and representatives of the partners.
