The Ministry of Agriculture carried out the initial receipt of the Yatta municipal slaughterhouse project, as part of the activities of the European project “Supporting the resilience of Palestinians in areas designated (C) through sustainable livestock development,” funded by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
The project was received by the committee formed by a decision of the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizq Slaimiya, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Municipality of Yatta, and in the presence of the implementing company, Al-Osaily Company, and the Al-Hanbali Supervision Office.
The initial receipt procedures were led by the project manager, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Zeer, Director of Dhahiria Agriculture and Veterinary Department, where the committee carried out a comprehensive field tour of the various facilities of the project, during which a number of preliminary observations were recorded by the members of the committee, including the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic aspects, in preparation for processing them and completing the final receipt requirements.
Yatta municipal slaughterhouse project is one of the vital projects that aims to develop the infrastructure of the livestock sector and improve the level of services provided to livestock breeders, thus contributing to strengthening their resilience and supporting agricultural development in the region.
The project is expected to be opened during the next phase after completing the technical notes and completing the necessary procedures for its final receipt.
