The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Engineer Bader Al-Hawamdeh, met in his office at the ministry with representatives of Beit Dajan and Faroush Beit Dajan village councils to discuss their agricultural and water needs and the challenges facing farmers in the two areas.
The meeting addressed the water problem, given the rising prices and attacks on water lines in the area. They also discussed the need to extend a water reservoir and repair a water well, which would improve water availability and better serve farmers.
The meeting also discussed the two areas' needs for agricultural roads, straw bales, and water tanks, in addition to providing the necessary equipment for the olive harvest season. This would support farmers and contribute to strengthening their resilience and continued agricultural work.
Al-Hawamdeh emphasized the Ministry's commitment to following up on the needs of farmers and local authorities and exploring ways to respond to their demands within the available resources, thereby strengthening the resilience of the agricultural sector in the region.
