Field follow-up and visits on EU-funded agricultural assistance projects in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron

The committees for the EU-funded agricultural assistance project completed their field visits to farmers targeted by the program in Bethlehem and Hebron governorates. These visits were part of the ongoing monitoring of the implementation of agricultural development plans and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon specifications.

The visits included four farmers in Al-Khader and Al-Jabha in Bethlehem governorate, and 25 farmers in Yatta, Dura, and Halhul in the Hebron governorate. The committees reviewed the progress of the implemented projects and verified that the development plans were being implemented according to the approved technical specifications.

During the visits, a number of agricultural projects were received, including sheep breeding, fodder, straw, and feed trough projects, in addition to projects for the construction of greenhouses, irrigation networks, and the provision of fertilizers and pesticides, as well as agricultural equipment including a plow and a chopper. The committee also reviewed some land reclamation and well-drilling projects that are still underway. The committee affirms that these visits are part of its commitment to ensuring the quality of implementation and achieving the program's objectives, which contribute to strengthening farmers' resilience and improving their income.
