Ramallah: May 21, 2026
Following a field visit by a ministerial delegation headed by Minister of Agriculture Professor Riziq Slaimiya to the towns of Al-Mughayyir, Abu Falah, Turmus Ayya, and Sinjil, the Ministry of Agriculture swiftly implemented an urgent intervention to support the resilience of farmers and livestock breeders in the targeted areas.
In direct response to the needs of the residents, the Ministry distributed 90 bales (large size, weighing 450 kg each) to livestock breeders in Al-Mughayyir, the most affected town, to alleviate the burdens they face amidst the difficult circumstances and ongoing attacks targeting citizens, their lands, and their livelihoods.
The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this step is part of the Palestinian government's efforts to strengthen the resilience of citizens on their land and support the agricultural sector as the first line of defense for the land and national identity.
The Ministry and the Palestinian government also emphasize their continued support for farmers and their commitment to providing all possible forms of assistance to bolster their attachment to their land and its protection. The ministry will complete the distribution operations in the towns of Abu Falah, Sinjil and Turmus Ayya during the coming week.
