⭕ Through the efforts of farmers and their determination to reach their lands and harvest their crops—bolstered by the support of the National Olive Harvest Campaign—approximately 57% of the targeted area has been harvested. This amounts to 445,000 dunums out of a total of 780,000 dunums, despite ongoing attacks and challenges on the ground.
⭕ Farmers continue to work on their land, while safeguarding their olive trees, crops, and their families' livelihoods.
⭕ The National Olive Harvest Campaign has organized 35 major, centralized events, alongside dozens of smaller-scale initiatives across the country, to support farmers and strengthen their resilience.
These efforts have involved local authorities, agricultural cooperatives, non-governmental and international organizations, local and international volunteers, and diplomatic missions. However, conditions on the ground have hindered the execution of some of the campaign’s activities; events in Hebron Governorate have been halted due to the current situation, and several planned activities in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate were prevented from taking place. These obstacles further complicate efforts to reach farmers and provide them with the necessary support on their land.
⭕ More than 1,800 olive-harvesting tools and agricultural supply kits—including ladders, harvesting tarps, brush cutters, and manual shears—have been provided directly to farmers. Additionally, over 950 such kits have been supplied to local authorities and agricultural cooperatives, which in turn lend this equipment to farmers to assist with the harvest. To date, a total of more than 2,750 harvesting tools and agricultural kits have been distributed. This support helps facilitate the harvesting process, alleviates financial and operational burdens, maximizes the utility of agricultural equipment, and ensures that assistance reaches as many farmers as possible—particularly in areas facing significant field-level challenges and difficulties.
⭕ Local authorities and agricultural cooperatives play a central and active role in leading the National Olive Harvest Campaign within their respective towns and villages. They coordinate efforts, provide essential supplies to farmers, and assist them in accessing their lands to gather their crops.
The National Olive Harvest Campaign acknowledges the efforts and steadfastness of the farmers. It commends the contributions of local authorities, agricultural cooperatives, supporting organizations, local volunteers, international solidarity activists, youth, women, and diplomatic missions. Furthermore, it underscores the importance of continued synergy between official, community, and international efforts to support farmers, protect olive trees, and strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people as they remain committed to their land and agricultural resources.
