Al-Hawamdeh inspects Jenin Agriculture Directorate and the veterinary and plant laboratories and confirms the implementation of Minister Slaimiya’s directives to develop agricultural services.

Following directives from the Minister of Agriculture, Professor RizIq Slaimiya, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Engineer Bader Al-Hawamdeh, accompanied by the Minister's Advisor for Governorate Affairs, Engineer Samir Samara, conducted a field visit to Jenin Agriculture Directorate. The visit included the Veterinary Services Department, the Jenin Central Veterinary Laboratory, and the Plant Health Laboratory. The delegation was received by the Director of Jenin Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Basem Hammad, and the Director of the Veterinary Services Department, Dr. Bassam Abu Aziz.

Al-Hawamdeh emphasized that the visit was part of the ongoing implementation of Minister Slaimiya's directives aimed at developing the infrastructure of agricultural and veterinary laboratories and improving the quality of services provided to farmers. He stressed the need to provide a suitable environment, necessary equipment and devices, and to fulfill the laboratories' requirements to enhance the efficiency of laboratory testing.

Al-Hawamdeh directed a study of staffing needs and their distribution according to work requirements, the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation work, and the strengthening of sampling, monitoring, and laboratory diagnostic programs. He also directed the follow-up on providing the Plant Health Laboratory's needs and transferring equipment to facilitate its operations. At the end of the tour, Al-Hawamdeh affirmed that the Ministry, under the guidance of Minister Professor Riziq Slaimiya, is proceeding with the development of agricultural and veterinary laboratories in various governorates, in a way that contributes to protecting animal and plant resources, enhancing food security, and improving the services provided to the agricultural sector.
