Veterinary service and animal health directorates affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture carried out preventive vaccination campaigns in Jenin, Hebron, and Bethlehem governorates. These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to protect livestock and limit the spread of epidemic diseases.

The campaigns involved administering 3,172 vaccine doses to 56 breeders, covering Foot-and-Mouth Disease (specifically the SAT-1 strain for sheep), Brucellosis, Goat Pox, and Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR).

In Jenin Governorate, the Veterinary Services Directorate administered 1,575 doses benefiting 18 breeders; the vaccinations covered Foot-and-Mouth Disease, Goat Pox, and Brucellosis.

In Hebron Governorate, the Veterinary Services and Animal Health Directorate (South Hebron/Dura) continued its vaccination campaign in Deir Razih area, administering 482 doses to 16 farmers; the vaccinations covered Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Brucellosis.

In Bethlehem Governorate, the Veterinary Services Directorate administered 1,115 doses across Za'atara, Tuqu', and Nahalin areas, benefiting 22 farmers; the vaccinations covered Foot-and-Mouth Disease, Goat Pox, Brucellosis, and Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR). The Ministry of Agriculture, through its directorates and veterinary departments, continues to implement preventive vaccination campaigns in accordance with approved programs, aiming to protect livestock, curb the spread of diseases, enhance herd health, and support livestock breeders and the sustainability of animal production.
