Under the supervision and with the participation of Jerusalem Agriculture Directorate, the Land Research Center distributed 200 mature olive trees to a number of active farmers in the Beit Iksa and Beit Ijza areas. This initiative aims to support farmers' resilience and enhance the continuity of agricultural activity in the targeted areas.
This activity seeks to empower farmers to expand their cultivated land and improve their production by providing high-quality olive saplings that contribute to strengthening agricultural cover and preserving the land.
Jerusalem Governorate Agriculture Directorate affirms that this initiative is part of joint efforts with partners to support farmers in threatened areas and provide them with the means to persevere, thereby strengthening their attachment to the land and ensuring the sustainability of agricultural production in Jerusalem Governorate.
